2011 CROSSFIRE SELECT PLAYERS
Welcome Crossfire Select 2011 players. Things are a little different this year. The good news is we are offering as many players as we can the opportunity to play in our Club when things return to "normal."
If you registered for tryouts before the April 30th cutoff date, you should see an email from the Club soon. If your son/daughter would like to play for Crossfire Select, you'll just need to accept the spot and then proceed with the player registration process. Registering now means your player will be registered to the 2011 age group. We will have in-person tryouts in early summer and that's where players will be reviewed and assigned to the appropriate team based on their playing ability.
When registering a player, you will be required to pay the first installment $212.50. After players have been assigned to a team, three additional payments will be due on July 25th, Aug. 25th, and Sept. 25th to equal the total club fees of $850. There will be $100 deducted from the Club fees for any full month that we don’t train.
Frequently asked questions
Practices are twice a week and begin in early June. Practice schedules are determined by the individual coaches within guidelines set by the club.
Most teams participate in 2-3 tournaments throughout the summer season (June-August), one of which is our own Crossfire Select Cup. During the summer, teams are evaluated by the coach and the Coaching Director and then placed in a competitive division for the fall season that is appropriate for the team.
Crossfire Select teams end the fall season in January/February by participating in a state tournament, either Founders Cup or Presidents Cup (GU15-GU19 and higher performing teams).
All Boys teams will purchase new uniforms for 2020
Teams collect a team fund from every family that range from $150 - $200 for the season. This fund covers tournament entry fees, costs to coaches, equipment and an end-of-season party. This fund is in addition to the club fees, and varies from team to team.
Boys order uniforms on even-numbered tryout years, and girls order on odd-numbered tryout years. If your player needs a uniform this year, you will receive an email from Soccer.com when items are available to purchase. Club fan gear can be purchased at any time. The cost of uniforms is approximately $200 per 2-year cycle. Learn more about uniforms.
