  • HOW DO I SIGN UP FOR TRYOUTS?
Register online to ensure a quick check-in process at tryouts. It's $20 pre-register online and $25 to register online the day of tryouts. Cash or Check is not accepted at the field the day of tryouts. Please note: We cannot issue refunds.
  • WHAT HAPPENS AT TRYOUTS?
Arrive 15-20 minutes early to check-in each day. Each player is assigned a numbered tryout jersey to be worn on both days. Players are identified by that jersey number during the tryout. Families must remember that tryout number they receive as they will return the shirt to the coaches each day.
  • TRYOUT FORMAT
After all players have checked in, a tryout facilitator will call participants onto the field to provide players instructions. Players will be put into small-sided games on day 1. On day 2 we will proceed to larger size field games (7v7, 9v9, or 11v11) for assessment by Crossfire Select coaches. During the tryout sessions, players will move from field to field to be evaluated by as many coaches as possible.
  • WHAT HAPPENS AFTER TRYOUTS?
Following the final tryout session for your age group, head coaches will confirm their selections with the Coaching Director. Player selections will be posted on the Crossfire Select website. Players selected to a team will be listed by their assigned numbers from tryouts. Players must respond to the coach via email within 24 hours to accept or decline the position. Failure to respond may mean that the coach offers the position to an alternate player. If you do not see your player's number listed on the website, that person was not selected for a team.
  • WHAT DOES ALTERNATES MEAN?
The club will post alternate numbers online for some teams. These players have not yet been selected for a team, but if a selected player declines an invitation, an alternate player may be invited to join the team and will be contacted by a club coach. Alternate numbers are listed in ascending order. Being first in the list of alternates does not necessarily indicate that that player will be the first player selected in the event a player declines. Alternates will be contacted via email, phone call or text.

  • DOES MY CHILD NEED TO ATTEND BOTH DAYS?
